Friends

It's just amazing. Every September as we prepare for Papa's Pumpkin Patch, "friends" show up. Some friends are new; we've never met them before and they drive into the yard because they can't believe anyone would decorate like this...just because. Some friends we know and they stop out because their drive through the country brought them down River Road.

And some are closer friends - now family many of them - who show up each weekend prior to our opening on Sept. 14, and they work. And they work and they work. We all spend countless hours together as we ready ourselves and the Patch for thousands of guests.

We paint and we trim and we build and we design and we haul and we unload. Most of all, we love it. We eat together in the evenings and we laugh a lot during the daylight hours.

Friends are another reason why Papa's has grown and become the celebration it is today. We are eternally grateful for the support of the Bismarck-Mandan community, the state of North Dakota, and our friends.

See you soon,

Papa

Papa,

One of our most favorite parts of coming to the pumpkin patch is the drive on River Road. It's like you are going through a tunnel of trees, the way the big cottonwoods arch over the road and create a kind of covered bridge.

You live in a beautiful area and we're so glad you share it with us!
