We live at Papa's Pumpkin Patch. That's right. When you come to Papa's, you're really coming in our driveway, parking in our field and playing in our yard. Welcome to the party!
For a long time we've believed that to those whom much is given, much is expected in return. Our family is truly blessed and so the celebrations of the seasons -- Papa's Pumpkin Patch and Papa's Polar Patch -- are a way for us to give back.
What greater joy is there than to stand by quietly and watch three generations of family play together? Or have two fathers buy pumpkin cookies and water as "intermission" while they gear up for another round of tag with their children on the bale maze?
Yesterday, Charity Lutheran Church in Bismarck welcome their families to Papa's. They had live music, provided a great meal and entertained hundreds at the Patch.
Two separate bus loads of guests joined us from Minot, just over 100 miles away. They came as families to celebrate the season and enjoy one another's company.
In all, more than 7,500 people played at Papa's this past weekend. That's one BIG party!
See you soon,
Papa
