The list takes several forms. There's Mrs. P's list. She keeps her list on 3" x 3" yellow sticky notes. Mine goes in my front shirt pocket. Then there's the list on the white board in the shop. That list can gather up to 20-30 items that show no discrimination. Everything from "load of corn stalks" to "re-stock displays" to " check spiffy biffs" makes the shop list. And everything on the list gets done.
It's one of the wonderful attributes of the people behind Papa's. Most every task is viewed as a social activity where you see the results of your contribution almost immediately. Some items on the list require brains, some require brawn. Most are self explanatory so anyone who stops in for a couple of hours or plans to spend the day can figure out how they will add value in short order.
That's the beauty of Papa's list. It gets done.
Until next time,
Papa
